Responsibilities Assist dentists throughout a wide range of procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and implant treatments, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort. Set up and break down treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, preparing materials, and following strict infection control and aseptic guidelines. Capture and process dental X-rays and operate 3D scanning technology to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain and update patient charts within Dentrix Ascend, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA standards. Qualifications Previous experience in a dental office is strongly preferred, with a solid understanding of dental assisting functions. Experience with Dentrix Ascend is a plus. Thorough knowledge of sterilization processes, infection control standards, and safety protocols.
