You will have the ability to create your own schedule. Choose to work 1, 2, or 3 days a week. Duties include: Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral examinations - Take and develop dental x-rays - Administer local anesthesia and apply fluoride treatments - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques - Conduct patient assessments and document medical history - Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix/Dexis software - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment - Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care Requirements: - Valid state dental hygiene license - Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health principles - Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including taking vital signs - Familiarity with medical coding and documentation systems - Experience with Dentrix software for patient record management - Ability to operate medical imaging equipment for dental x-rays - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
