We are looking for a hardworking, energetic, fun individual to be our next full time dental assistant who will make the office more efficient and pleasant for patients. You’ll ensure office's commitment to excellent patient care and teamwork. Dental assistants should be hardworking, friendly, and possess great attention to detail. We want you to be able to provide great care to our patients and keep the office's fun atmosphere. Responsibilities Welcome customers in the dental office Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry for procedures which include, but are not limited to: assisting with crowns, bridges, fillings, extractions, root canals, pediatric dentistry and implants Assist the hygienist Scan patients' teeth with the CEREC intraoral scanner Help with the fabrication of crowns and bridges using the CEREC Make models, surgical guides, and nightguards with the 3D printer Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures Skills Have one year of dental assisting experience Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus Good computer skills Knowledge of Cerec and Eaglesoft is not needed but is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Profit sharing Retirement plan Experience: Dental assisting: 3 years (Required) Ability to Commute: Henderson, NV 89012 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Henderson, NV 89012: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
