Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office while providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately. Manage patient appointments and maintain an organized schedule. Document the dental procedure and any observations made during the appointment under clinical notes Ensure all lab cases are sent out and received. Perform infection control procedures in compliance with health regulations. Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow within the practice. Manage inventory Attention to detail Good communication and interpersonal skills Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications: Proficiency in dental terminology relevant to dentistry.
