Key Responsibilities: Prepare patients for dental procedures by explaining treatments and ensuring their comfort. Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, including handling instruments and materials. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Take dental X-rays as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and charting. Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care. Ensure the operatory and office are clean, organized, and stocked with supplies. Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations. Qualifications: Dental Assistant in New York CPR certification Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology.
