Registered Dental Hygienist Pediatric Dental Office Part-Time Staten Island, NY 10312 We are a friendly, well-established pediatric dental office seeking a caring and engaging Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. Our practice focuses on prevention, education, and creating positive dental experiences for children in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Position Overview Part-time, long-term position Assisted hygiene Start date: ASAP New graduates welcome Schedule Monday & Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM when schools are closed) Saturday: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM Friday: 2:00PM - 6:00PM Possible/optional This is a part-time, long-term position with an assisted hygiene setup Key Responsibilities Provide pediatric preventive hygiene services including cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and age-appropriate oral hygiene instruction. Educate children and parents on proper home care and preventative dental habits. Create a calm, positive, and engaging experience for pediatric patients. Work collaboratively with the dentist and clinical team to support patient care and treatment flow. Qualifications Active New York State Dental Hygiene license (required). Pediatric dental experience preferred, but not required. New graduates encouraged to apply. Communication skills with children and parents. Patient, nurturing, confident, and engaging personality. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced pediatric setting.
