Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring high standards of patient comfort and clinical excellence. The successful applicant will demonstrate expertise in various dental procedures, including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols. Responsibilities Diagnose and treat a wide range of dental conditions using current clinical techniques and best practices. Perform dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, restorations, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Conduct patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and radiographic evaluations using medical imaging tools. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs while explaining procedures clearly using appropriate dental terminology. Ensure patient care quality by maintaining accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards. Utilize advanced dental technology and equipment effectively, including Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and dental fabrication tools. Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control standards to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Collaborate with team members in a four-handed dentistry setup to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Educate patients on oral health maintenance and preventive care strategies. Stay current with industry developments by participating in continuing education opportunities related to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties as needed. Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is required; prior dental practice experience is highly preferred. Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is desirable. Demonstrated expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (including root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and other general dentistry procedures. Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and the ability to interpret diagnostic images accurately. Experience performing dental extractions, root canals, dental fabrication processes, and managing complex cases involving infection control protocols. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and delivering compassionate service in a professional setting.
