Our dynamic dental office in Clifton, NJ is actively seeking an experienced Dental Hygienist to join our team. For Full or Part-time position. Responsibilities: Our Dental Hygienists are invaluable members of our dental team. As a Dental Hygienist, you are our patients' first educators — providing comprehensive instructions on proper preventative care and treatment. A good fit for this role will not only demonstrate mastery of all outlined key responsibilities, they must also be an exceptional team member. Conduct a thorough review of patient medical history and properly assess any potential health risks or medical emergencies Thoroughly screen patients for tooth decay and oral diseases Provide a comprehensive dental cleaning that includes the removal of tartar buildup, stains and plaque Effectively communicate dental procedures, conditions and oral hygiene instructions with patients to build trust and foster a positive dental experience Efficiently collaborate with dental team to provide comprehensive patient care Demonstrate an effective handoff in order to improve communication and dental literacy between provider and patient Experience Must be a RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist) with at least one (1) year of work experience in a dental office setting.
