Dental Hygienist- Full Time | 60 ++/hour - Primadent - Cherry Hill, NJ

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, dental records management, and adherence to HIPAA regulations. The Dental Hygienist will work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and a comfortable experience for all patients. Duties Conduct thorough dental cleanings and periodontal assessments for patients. Perform scaling and root plannings when neccesary. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate dental records and document patient treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist in the management of patient care, including reviewing medical history. Ensure that the dental office environment is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices to provide the best care possible. Experience Previous experience in dental hygienge is preferred. Familiarity with dental terminology, and general dentistry practices is essential. Experience managing dental records and understanding HIPAA compliance is a plus. Strong patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
