Dental Assistant - Healthy Smiles of Palm Coast - Palm Coast, FL

Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take and develop dental x-rays - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform dental charting and maintain accurate medical records - Use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for creating dental prosthetics - Utilize Epic electronic health record system for patient documentation Requirements: - Completion of an accredited dental assistant program or equivalent experience - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments - Proficiency in patient assessment and providing chairside assistance - Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus - Familiarity with medical coding and billing practices - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate medical documentation Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
