Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to our dental team, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while delivering exceptional patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain a welcoming environment for patients. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, including prosthodontics and pediatric dentistry. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Maintain accurate medical records and patient information, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Take and record vital signs as needed. Perform dental assisting tasks such as suctioning, mixing materials, and preparing treatment rooms. Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow as a dental receptionist when required. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant minimum 2 years. Knowledge of general dentistry practices, including prosthodontics and oral surgery. Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance.. Ability to take vital signs accurately. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Certification in dental assisting is a plus but not mandatory.
