Dental Assistant We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dental Assistant to help make our practice more efficient, welcoming, and patient-focused. In this role, you will support both administrative and clinical functions, ensuring every patient enjoys a smooth, positive experience. The ideal candidate is well-organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional care while following all dental office standards and regulations. Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients upon arrival Prepare patients for treatments or examinations, ensuring their comfort Select, arrange, and prepare instruments, equipment, and materials Sterilize instruments in compliance with safety and regulatory standards Assist the dentist using four-handed dentistry techniques Perform assigned laboratory tasks Provide patients with oral hygiene guidance and post-operative instructions Maintain a clean, stocked, and orderly treatment room Schedule and confirm patient appointments Accurately maintain patient records and support payment procedures Skills & Qualifications Proven experience as a dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization techniques Understanding of health and safety regulations Ability to perform regulated non-surgical procedures (e.g., coronal polishing) is a plus Strong computer and administrative skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Dependable, professional, and patient-focused High school diploma required; graduation from an accredited dental assistant program preferred Additional training or certifications (e.g., EFDA) are an asset Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Work Location: In person
