What youâll do Develop and implement individualized orthodontic treatment plans for patients of all ages. Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including diagnostic imaging and oral examinations. Utilize advanced software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for patient management and documentation. Collaborate with dental professionals in pediatric dentistry, general dentistry, and oral surgery to ensure holistic patient care. Execute dental procedures including extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics while adhering to aseptic techniques. Maintain meticulous medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols. Educate patients and their families on orthodontic procedures, oral hygiene practices, and treatment expectations. Stay updated on advancements in orthodontics and related fields to enhance service delivery. Basic qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license with specialization in orthodontics. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical documentation practices. Preferred qualifications Experience in four-handed dentistry and familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices. Proficiency in medical imaging techniques relevant to orthodontics. Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting is highly desirable.
