We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to support our dental team in delivering exceptional patient care, ensuring efficient treatment room operations, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Key Responsibilities - Patient Care: Welcome, seat, and comfort patients; review health histories; provide post-operative care instructions; educate on oral hygiene. Chairside Assistance: Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials; pass instruments and suction during procedures; assist the dentist during four-handed dentistry. Sterilization & Setup: Sterilize instruments, disinfect treatment areas, and keep dental units, and rooms, stocked and ready. Diagnostic Support: Capture dental radiographs (X-rays) and impressions. Record Keeping: Chart treatments, document services, and maintain accurate patient records. Administrative Tasks: Manage supplies, schedule appointments as needed, and present patient's with treatment plans when necessary. Emergency Preparedness: Maintain CPR certification and knowledge of emergency protocols. Skills - Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role (1 year experience preferred). Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization methods, and OSHA/health & safety regulations. Excellent communication, people skills, and a strong sense of responsibility. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively in a team. CPR certification and familiarity with dental software (Eaglesoft, Yapi).
