Bilingual Dental Assistant (Full-Time) - Pediatric Dental Office Location: Santa Ana, CA 92705 Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour (DOE) Let's be part of energetic, patient dental team who loves working with children? Bunny Kids Dental is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. We are looking for someone who can provide a gentle, "fear-free" experience for our young patients while maintaining a fast-paced and efficient back-office flow. Bilingual Spanish/English fluency is a strict requirement for this position. Schedule Enjoy a consistent schedule with a three-day weekend every week! Monday: OFF Tuesday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM ( Required ) Sunday: OFF Key Responsibilities (What You Will Do) The ideal candidate will provide high-quality clinical support to our doctors while ensuring our young patients feel safe and comfortable. Chairside Assisting: Assist the dentist in pediatric procedures, including exams, fillings, crowns, and pulpotomies using 4-handed dentistry. Patient Comfort: Use "Tell-Show-Do" techniques to guide children through their appointments and ease dental anxiety. Clinical Prep: Set up and break down treatment rooms; maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols (OSHA/CDC). Radiography: Take high-quality digital X-rays (bitewings, periapicals, and pans) on pediatric patients. Bilingual Communication: Clearly explain post-operative instructions and oral hygiene tips to both parents and children in English and Spanish. Records: Accurately document treatment notes and patient charts within our practice management software. Qualifications & Skills Required: Bilingual Fluency (Must): Fluent in both Spanish and English. Patience & Empathy: A genuine love for working with kids and a calm demeanor under pressure. Reliability: Ability to work the required Tuesday–Saturday schedule consistently. Attendance is very important. Preferred (A Plus): Software: Experience using Dentrix practice management software. Experience: 1+ years of previous experience in a pediatric dental setting preferred.
