Growing Private Practices in Fredericksburg, VA Seeking Dental Hygienist with Competitive Pay, Benefits & Bonuses - Relocation Assistance Available! We are looking for two (one full-time and one part-time) Dental Hygienists to join us to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices. We believe hygienists drive the success of the practice and should lead the team alongside the practice manager and doctor. The hygienist will be expected to advise patients on oral health, preventive care & necessary treatment options in addition to clinical duties. They should be knowledgable of relevant health and safety regulations, meticulous, and willing to collaborate with the doctor on the best treatment. Responsibilities Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible during their appointment Review patients health history, past dental treatments and current medications Maintain a healthy hygiene schedule & help to keep the schedule full Identify and treat periodontal conditions such as: gingivitis & periodontitis Educate patients of all ages on proper home care Provide patient with risks and benefits of treatment and post operative care when appropriate Obtain/maintain accurate patient records including: perio charting, clinical notes, x-rays, CT scans and 3d (iTero) scans Collaborate with doctor to decide appropriate treatment for patients Monitor supplies and notify when appropriate supplies are needed Eaglesoft knowledge is a plus Skills Proven experience as Dental Hygienist with a valid license In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA and OSHA) Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment and instruments Outstanding communication skills Attention to detail Laser certified (office can provide training if needed) Leadership Critical thinking Effective time management Connect with patients Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $55.00 - $67.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Relocation assistance Vision insurance Ability to Commute: Fredericksburg, VA (Required) Ability to Relocate: Fredericksburg, VA: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
