Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our outgoing orthodontic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our orthodontists. This position requires a strong understanding of orthodontic procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients. Duties Assist orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Maintain accurate charting documentation in patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and post-treatment care. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed, including sterilization of instruments and maintaining a clean work environment. Support pediatric patients by providing compassionate care and addressing their concerns during visits. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. Travel weekly to 3 office locations located in Chandler, Queen Creek and Maricopa Experience Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas: Orthodontic chairside assisting Understanding of anatomy relevant to orthodontics and dental procedures.
