Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for patient care and demonstrate expertise in preventive dentistry, patient assessment, and infection control. As a key member of our practice, you will deliver exceptional dental hygiene services while ensuring compliance with health regulations and fostering a welcoming environment for patients of all ages. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review to ensure safe treatment planning. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to their needs. Assist with dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency and comfort. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment. Collaborate with dentists on treatment planning, medical imaging, and documentation review for comprehensive patient care. Stay current with advances in pediatric dentistry, medical terminology, and dental terminology to enhance service quality. Skills Experience with Eaglesoft a plus but will teach for scheduling, documentation, and record management. Strong knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse age groups. Solid understanding of anatomy knowledge related to oral structures and overall health considerations.
