We are seeking an exceptional Registered Dental Assistant with Extended Functions (RDAEF) to join our high-end, technology-driven cosmetic and implant dental practice in Beverly Hills. This role is ideal for an RDAEF who is self-directed, detail-oriented, and clinically confident, and who wants to work closely with a doctor on complex, high-value cases rather than high-volume dentistry.

Position Overview

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday (4 days/week)
• Practice Type: Cosmetic, implant, digital dentistry (boutique, private practice)
• Patient Base: Discerning, high-expectation clientele
• Environment: Calm, professional, no chaos, no micromanagement

You will function as the doctor’s primary clinical partner, supporting advanced procedures while also assisting with patient follow-up and clinical coordination during downtime.

Core Responsibilities Include 

1. Clinical (Primary Focus):

• Chairside assistance for cosmetic, implant, and restorative procedures
• Perform RDAEF duties in accordance with California regulations, including but not limited to:
• Taking final impressions / digital scans (TRIOS experience a plus)
• Placing and finishing restorations as permitted
• Fabricating and adjusting provisionals
• Assisting with implant workflows, tissue management, and post-op care
• Operatory setup, breakdown, and strict infection control compliance
• CBCT and digital imaging support
• Maintaining efficiency and flow during high-level procedures

 2. Clinical Support & Patient Follow-Up:

• Post-treatment patient communication and follow-ups
• Clinical documentation and coordination
• Supporting treatment execution and continuity of care
• Assisting the doctor in maximizing chair time and clinical focus

Required Qualifications

• Active California RDAEF license
• Minimum 3+ years of dental assisting experience (RDAEF experience required)
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent chairside manner and patient communication
• High level of professionalism and reliability
• Familiarity with digital dentistry preferred (TRIOS, CBCT, digital workflows)
