Daily responsibilities will include: -Working chairside with Dr. Freeman providing patients with exceptional orthodontic care in a fun, up-beat, welcoming, attentive and professional environment -Working independently on patients while showcasing your expertise of orthodontic knowledge as well as perform four to six handed dentistry -Assisting with the placement and removal of orthodontic appliances, adjustments and retention checks -Assisting with orthodontic records (photos, x-rays and scan or impress) and providing patient education -Accurately recording treatment performed in electronic charts -Sterilizing instruments, infection control and preparing tray set ups -Assisting with lab work (pouring, trimming, printing and fabrication of retainers) Applicant should be fast paced, have excellent communication skills, be highly proficient with computers/technology (as we are a paperless office), detail oriented, organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while being positive, flexible and patient focused. Applicant must have excellent finger dexterity and great hand to eye coordination. If applicant is not already certified in x-rays and orthodontic assisting Freeman Orthodontics will provide needed preparation and training for state certification testing. Work Schedule is Typically: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30p.m. and Friday 7:30a.m. to 4:30 p.m. With a one-hour lunch daily. Once fully trained there will be opportunity to work half day on Wednesdays.
