Position Summary: To coordinate the Dental Assistant staff, ensuring an efficiently operating Dental Department. To act and function as a Dental Assistant role model. Position Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Some supervisory or instructing experience preferred. Has completed YK Dental Assistant Career Ladder or equivalent experience. Certified Dental Assistant, or two years of clinical dental assisting experience. Current dental radiology certificate. Current BLS and CPR certification. Dental equipment and instruments. Dental anatomy, basic dental instrumentarium, basic dental assisting Supervise dental assistants. Other supervisory duties as assigned.
