EXAMPLE OF DUTIES This position will be based in Columbus, GA and will provide comprehensive dental services in a public health facility to include but not limited to diagnosis and restorative/preventative treatment of dental disease. This is Not a Remote position. You will support the Department by utilizing your expertise to fulfill the following responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums and related oral structures, and provide preventive and corrective servicesAdvise and instruct public health clients regarding preventive dental care, dental problems and oral health care servicesFormulates plan of treatment for patient’s teeth and mouth tissueProvide dental care services to pediatric patientsSupervise paraprofessional staff (Dental Hygienist, Dental Assistant, Customer Service Rep)Recommend program improvements, as neededProvide instruction and supervision to dental students in an university affiliated program. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION All West Central Health District 7 employees are deemed essential workers in the event of an emergency.
