Position Summary: We are seeking a Dental Assistant with strong front desk experience to support clinical functions in our pediatric dental practice. This role is ideal for someone who can confidently run the clinical floor, assist with ortho, and support efficient patient flow from check-in to treatment. Key Responsibilities: Take and process diagnostic images, including dental x-rays Assist with orthodontic procedures , including sealants, space maintainers, and crown placements Sterilize instruments and prep treatment rooms per OSHA and infection control standards Manage dental supply inventory, including ordering, tracking, and usage monitoring Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing education and reassurance Maintain a calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced pediatric environment Translate for Spanish-speaking patients and families as needed Requirements: Current RDA license in Texas Minimum 1+ years of experience in pediatric or general dentistry Experience with orthodontic assisting and Pediatric assisting Proficient with Open Dental or similar dental management software CPR certification required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: Sugar Land, TX 77479 (Required) Work Location: In person
