Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate medical records and patient histories, ensuring confidentiality. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow to optimize office efficiency. Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction. Stay updated on dental terminology, procedures, and best practices. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in dental software such as Eaglesoft is a plus. Knowledge of dental terminology, and x-ray procedures is essential. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry or prosthodontics is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with patients of all ages. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Certification in CPR or First Aid is preferred.
