Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the orthodontist in delivering high-quality treatment. Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist during procedures by preparing instruments and materials. Take X-rays and 3D scans, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to aseptic techniques. Educate patients on oral hygiene, pre and post-treatment care. Manage patient records using Cloud 9, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Prepare treatment areas before and after procedures, including sterilization of instruments. Assist with the placement,removal, and adjustment of orthodontic appliances. Take alginate impressions and digital scans. Inventory Control. Managing a fast-paced patient schedule. Occasionally help front desk manage incoming calls. Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless patient flow and satisfaction. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience in dental assisting or a related field is preferred, with familiarity in orthodontics being a plus. Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards. Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
