Dental Hygienist Join our dedicated dental team as a Dental Hygienist, where you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities: Provide clinical oral hygiene services including dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, sealant application, tooth polishing, fluoride treatments, and administration of local anesthesia when necessary, in accordance with state laws and practice guidelines. Obtain baseline oral hygiene assessment data, utilizing accepted principles to evaluate patient needs and develop appropriate care plans. Educate patients and groups on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and the importance of maintaining good oral health. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting treatments, assessments, and patient education. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards in all clinical procedures. Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans and improve patient outcomes. Stay current with advancements in oral hygiene practices, tools, and materials through ongoing education and professional development. Skills and Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations. Proven experience in providing a wide range of oral hygiene services. Strong knowledge of periodontal care, preventive dentistry, and oral health education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and motivate patients. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and safety.
