We are looking for an energetic, caring, dependable dental assistant for our busy pediatric practice We provide a wide range of dental services including routine, emergency, and orthodontics Office hours are as follows: Mon - 9am-5pm (1 x Monthly) Tue - 9am-5pm Wed - 9am-5pm Thur- Closed Fri - 9am-5pm Sar - 8am-2pm (1x Monthly) Office Dental software: Dentrix Practice Management Office Dental Imaging: Dentrix smart image Responsibilities and Duties Review patients medical history and records Obtain digital radiographs as needed Perform prophy/coronal polishing as needed Clean and prepare operatories for each treatment and recare patient Sterilize instruments and clean lab materials Assist Dr. during all treatment procedures including routine, emergency, and orthodontics Chart and record patient information with Dr. diagnosis for treatment plans Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions Explain procedures and treatment recommendations to parents Make patients feel comfortable during treatment Qualifications and Skills Current CPR Certification preferred Coronal Polishing Certification preferred Able to provide quality patient care and excellent cutomer service Able to help relax patients and encourage parents throughout their visit in our office Dental software training will be provided Benefits Salary: $18-$22 per hour - Based on experience Job Type: Part-time - 2-3 days p/week The right candidate could very well transition from part-time to full-time when our patient load increases and more clinical staff is needed.
