Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Abilene, TX

*Pay is dependent on experience and certifications* Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Assistant to join our pediatric dentistry office. As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our young patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist our pediatric dentist in delivering dental procedures and treatments while ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for children and their parents. Responsibilities: Assist the pediatric dentist during dental procedures and treatments, including cleanings, fillings, extractions, and dental exams. Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient procedures. Take dental X-rays as directed by the dentist. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, creating a friendly and welcoming environment. Follow all OSHA and HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality and safety. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience working in a pediatric dental office is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with children. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy. Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification.
