Hello! We're looking for a bright and motivated person to join our team of dedicated professionals. Opportunities for advancement include dental insurance and claims training, financial services training, customer service & communication skills, IV placement training, advanced training in implant planning and intraoral scan training as well as medical terminology education. Core Responsibilities Warmly welcome all customers to our practice Schedule appointments in person and over phone in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate patient records, consents and assist with payment procedures Verify and input dental insurance information to assist our patients Review and confirm treatment plans and financial arrangements Develop and foster relationships with referring dental offices Prep patients for surgery. This includes Time outs, setting up rooms for IV procedures and all required emergency equipment required. Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed for cases Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the Dr. Martinez with a variety of in office procedures including wisdom teeth and dental implants. Assist Dr. Martinez with airway support during IV sedations with in the scope of OMS assistant training. Digital scanning for guided implant surgery Provide post-operative care instructions and follow up Assist in ordering/stocking office Note: You will not be expected to fulfill all roles Day 1. Training period for this fast paced hybrid role is individualized based on the team member's stated strengths and experience. Training benchmarks for 1, 2 and 3 months will be provided. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand for extended periods of time Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs Must be comfortable in warm surgical environments with blood exposure Experience Preferred 1-2 years of surgical assisting experience preferred. We look for a determined attitude first, then competency.
