At Smile Center Dental Care, we are always seeking to expand our supportive dental team! At this time we are looking for a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing team! In this vital role, you will provide exceptional chairside assistance, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care while supporting the clinical operations of our dental practice. Your expertise in dental procedures, infection control, and patient communication will help create a positive experience for every patient. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized according to infection control protocols. Take digital dental X-rays and 3D scans, while maintaining proper radiation safety standards. Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) Eaglesoft, ensuring accurate documentation of patient histories, treatment plans, and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support patient care by taking vital signs, medical history updates, and assessing patient comfort levels throughout procedures. Maintain a sterile environment using aseptic techniques and proper infection control practices to safeguard patients and staff. Educate patients on oral health care instructions, post-treatment care, and dental terminology to promote understanding and compliance. Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with current licensure. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic technique Familiarity with Eaglesoft Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and medical imaging tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security. Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures and instructions clearly to patients and their families.
