HOURLY RATE IS NEGOTIABLE We are looking for a dedicated Permanent Part-Time Dental Hygienist with a positive attitude that will be a welcomed addition to our Private Practice. A friendly and personable team member that is able to build trust with patients of all ages and put them at ease when tending to their dental needs. Your duties will involve but are not limited to conducting initial patient screenings, cleaning teeth, advising patients on oral health and taking x-rays. You should have a deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases and anomalies. Responsibilities Ensure patients feel comfortable before their examination Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis Clean, take x-rays and educate patients of all ages on proper dental care Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Sterilize dental instruments properly Skills Proven experience as Dental Hygienist In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment Outstanding communication skills Attention to detail Diploma in Dental Hygiene Valid license to practice Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $50.00 per hour Benefits: Health savings account Work Location: In person
