As we continue to grow, we're seeking a skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. About the Role You'll be a key clinical provider, working closely with the doctor and team to deliver excellent preventive care and build patient relationships. Responsibilities include: - Performing dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, polishing, and fluoride applications. - Conducting oral assessments, reviewing medical histories, charting conditions, and developing individualized care plans. - Taking and interpreting digital X-rays and intraoral images. - Educating patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive strategies, and treatment options. - Providing gentle, tailored care for adult patients and those with dental anxiety. - Assisting with four-handed dentistry during procedures. - Maintaining accurate EMR records and adhering to infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA standards. - Supporting overall practice efficiency and team collaboration. Qualifications - Active Texas Registered Dental Hygienist license (required). - Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred; motivated recent graduates considered. - Proficiency in dental software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar). - Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and infection control protocols. - Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus. - Excellent communication skills, with a focus on patient education and comfort. - Team-oriented, reliable, and adaptable.
