We are a private dental office in Concord seeking a friendly, outgoing person to join our dental family. This is for a short term position while our team member is out on maternity leave. Estimated duration of position is 6 months. Responsibilities: - Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and friendly experience - Schedule appointments and manage the dental office's calendar - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and other healthcare providers - Verify insurance coverage and assist with front office administrative tasks - Maintain patient records and update information in dental software systems - Collect payments and provide financial counseling to patients - Assist with managing front office inventory - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality Qualifications: - Previous experience in the dental field is required - Knowledge of dental terminology, codes and procedures is preferred - Proficiency in using Dentrix a plus but not required - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is essential - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment As a Dental Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office.
