Youâll help patients feel cared for by coordinating hygiene appointments, verifying dental benefits, and supporting the daily flow of the clinic. Duties: Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations with excellent phone etiquette using multi-line phone systems. Schedule appointments for hygiene services and coordinate patient flow efficiently. Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verification procedures accurately. Collect payments and process medical collections in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Manage electronic health records such as Dentrix and other medical office management software. Review documentation including insurance breakdowns and medical billing records for accuracy and completeness. Assist with intake procedures, data entry, and maintaining organized medical records and files. Support clinical staff by managing appointment reminders, patient correspondence, and documentation review. Ensure compliance with HIPAA privacy standards while handling sensitive health information. Perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and maintaining office supplies. Support administrative functions related to front office management including office organization and customer service. Requirements : Proven experience in a dental office setting preferred but not required as we will train the right candidate. Continuing education, training and mentorship is our moto, all provided by the practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, familiarity with Dentrix, and a comprehensive understanding of Dental terminology and billing procedures. Ideal candidate will posses: Familiarity with Dentrix. Knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and billing practices. Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and office management software like Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and data entry tasks. Ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally while demonstrating excellent customer service skills. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information. Previous experience in front desk operations or administrative support within a dental setting is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage scheduling efficiently and provide exceptional patient service. This role is essential for maintaining smooth clinic operations while delivering outstanding support to patients and staff alike.
