The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This role involves performing preventive dental hygiene procedures, educating patients on oral health, and maintaining accurate medical records. Duties Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Utilize dental imaging technologies to capture radiographs as needed. Maintain and update patient dental records with accuracy and confidentiality. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Stay informed about advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Work effectively with pediatric patients, adapting approaches to meet their unique needs. Qualifications Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations. Strong knowledge of dental terminology related to dental practices. Familiarity with opendental is a plus Ability to work well with children, demonstrating patience and effective communication skills in pediatrics. Must be comfortable obtaining x rays on young children. Knowledge of infection control standards and practices within a dental environment. Serious applicants only.
