Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team. As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and treat various dental conditions, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. Duties: - Perform dental examinations, including reviewing medical history and conducting oral cancer screenings - Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay - Develop treatment plans and discuss them with patients, explaining procedures and expected outcomes - Administer anesthetics to patients as needed - Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques - Collaborate with other dental professionals to coordinate patient care - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation - Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment Skills: - Proficient in medical coding for accurate billing and insurance claims - Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred - Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and practices - Familiarity with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Epic for patient management - Excellent understanding of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality - Thorough knowledge of human anatomy related to the oral cavity - Ability to accurately document medical information and treatment plans - Proficient in taking vital signs such as blood pressure and pulse We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
