Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with dentists and other team members to deliver exceptional service, particularly in pediatric dentistry and various dental specialties. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a comfortable environment for patients. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed while adhering to safety protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft. Support the team in various dental specialties, including Endodontics, Prosthodontics, and Pediatric Dentistry. Uphold aseptic techniques to prevent infection and maintain a clean working environment. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and knowledge: Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is preferred. Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental management systems. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and aseptic techniques. Previous experience in Endodontics or Prosthodontics is a plus. A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.
