Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, supporting the dental team, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on general dentistry and specialized procedures. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including chairside assisting, four-handed dentistry, and medical imaging. Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring aseptic techniques are followed. Operate digital X-ray equipment and 3D scanners while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Provide patient education on dental procedures, oral hygiene, and post-treatment care. Maintain infection control standards through proper sterilization and handling of dental instruments. Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent working experiences. Proven experience in general dentistry; experience in pediatric dentistry or prosthodontics is a plus. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols. Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and accurately; certification in radiography preferred. Experience with dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, aseptic technique, vital signs measurement, and medical imaging. Familiarity with advanced diagnostic tools such as 3D scanners is advantageous.
