Dental Assistant (Full Time) Luxe Dental Care is a family owned dental practice located in Kent Island, MD. Job Description: We are seeking an individual with high energy, great communication skills and a can-do attitude. The Dental Assistant plays an integral role in the practice, he/she will perform a number of administrative and customer service-related duties. The duties and responsibilities of dental assistant are as follows: Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient record Requirements: Dental assisting: 2+ year (Preferred) X-Ray Certification (Required) Expanded function certification is a plus but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments and procedures Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast pace environment Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday : 9 AM - 5 PM, Friday: 9 AM - 3 PM If you are a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant who is committed to providing outstanding patient care, we encourage you to apply for this position.
