Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient comfort and safety. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and various dental procedures, including endodontics and implant placement Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for use during procedures. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Manage patient records, including medical documentation and medical coding. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage patient flow within the office. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area in compliance with health regulations. Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient management and record keeping. Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy to assist in identifying issues during procedures. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential. Familiarity with dental specialties such as general dentistry and oral surgery Proficient in using Eaglesoft or similar dental software for documentation purposes. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. A commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment for patients. Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred.
