Dental Hygienist - White Sands Family Dental - Alamogordo, NM

Encanto Dental Group is seeking to add a Hygienist to our White Sands Family Dental team. The ideal candidate will have great personality & interactions with patients and our staff. You will have the option of working for commission or hourly pay with room to grow. Your main job includes but is not limited to: Document areas of existing restoration and notable area or possible decay and disease for Dentist review. When appropriate, call in Dentist for immediate Consult Examine gums, using probes, to locate periodontal recessed gums and signs of gum disease annually Educate patients on any periodontal needs and schedule their recalls appropriately Instruct patients on oral hygiene technique, answering patient questions and providing educational information relevant to their oral hygiene Maintain proper patient communication, documentation, and record keeping Knowledge and ability to perform administrative duties to prepare for next day patients as needed Administer fluoride treatment as needed Ability to place sealant's with or without an assistant Ability to take quality intra oral images for Dentist/patient review Maintain a positive attitude and high-level attention to detail As a member of our team, you will have the additional opportunity to earn bonuses as a team member based on your performance.
