Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our busy dental Office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and infection control practices. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists and other staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and maintain a welcoming environment for patients. Hours: Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 5:00pm Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients, including the application of fluoride and sealants. Conduct patient evaluations, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories. Utilize dental Dentrix software for patient documentation and record management. Maintain accurate medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe clinical environment. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Skills Proficient in using Dentrix systems for documentation review and medical coding. Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control protocols, and dental terminology. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to perform medical imaging as required during patient assessments. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in patient care processes.
