Position: Dental Hygienist Location: Island Pond Dental Clinic Northern Counties Health Care (NCHC) is seeking skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienists to join our team at the Island Pond Dental Clinic! We have flexible opportunities available for full-time, part-time, or per diem roles. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a community-oriented setting. Responsibilities: Provide preventive dental care, including prophylaxis, periodontal scaling, root planning, and fluoride applications. Take and develop dental radiographs and assist the Dentist as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene, dental health, and treatment plans. Maintain accurate clinical records and manage patient recall systems. Sterilize instruments and adhere to infection control protocols. Participate in community outreach and health education initiatives. Qualifications: Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. Licensed to practice Dental Hygiene in the State of Vermont. CPR/BLS certification is required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients of all ages. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
