We are a one doctor perio practice searching for a reliable and friendly back-office assistant. As a specialty office, we create a welcoming atmosphere for our patients and a friendly team environment for our employees. We do not work weekends or evenings and have a 4 day work week (Tues – Fri) Pay is based upon experience ```Duties``` - Assist the dentist and other healthcare professionals in providing quality patient care - Perform administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations of the back office - Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient procedures - Take dental radiographs (X-rays) - Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix - Follow aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards - Assist with dental procedures - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care ```Qualifications``` - Minimum 1 year experience in a dental assistant position - X-ray certification and knowledge of dental anatomy and systems - Proficiency in using Dentrix - Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Note: Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for dental assisting to join our team.
