Overview We are seeking a dedicated happy and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting dentists during procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. Duties Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging systems such as medical imaging equipment and 3D scanners. Perform chairside assisting by handing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining proper aseptic techniques to prevent infection. Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic environment with knowledge of general dentistry procedures. r Experience with X-ray techniques, and 3D scanners is highly desirable. Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques. Ability to perform vital signs assessment and support chairside assisting efficiently during complex procedures like prosthodontics or endodontics. Excellent communication skills to educate patients clearly about their treatments while demonstrating professionalism at all times. Certification in radiography or equivalent is preferred; ongoing training in medical coding or pediatrics is advantageous.
