The Dental Assistant (DA) will support the dentist and team in providing quality patient care within the scope of state regulations. The DA will set-up, breakdown, and sterilize operatories, take radiographs, offer chairside support, take impressions, and educate the patient regarding treatment, post-op instructions, next steps, and prosthetic homecare. The DA will also assist with making sure patients are informed of treatment steps, sterilize and maintain instruments, equipment, and general spaces providing a clean and professional environment, among other duties as assigned. The DA will specialize in assisting chairside with the doctor, maintaining sterilization area, operatory set up/breakdown, lab duties, spore checks weekly, inventory management, trap changes, flushing lines, cleaning the office and other duties assigned. The following is a list of duties expected to be performed: 1. Sterilization Duties - Bagging instruments/Cleaning the office/Establish a clean and dirty side 2. Operator set up and breakdown - Premade trays or cassettes 3. Lab duties 4. Spore Check Weekly 5. Inventory management 6. Trap changes 7. Line flush 8.
