Overview PART TIME LONGTERM or TEMP OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care. Easy going practice with benefits and bonuses, 60 minute assisted appointments, fully digital. The position is part time and from 8am - 3pm on Wednesday and Thursday. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventive care. Document patient information accurately, including medical history and treatment plans. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Assist in infection control procedures to maintain a safe clinical environment. Utilize medical imaging techniques as needed for diagnostic purposes Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized patient care plans. Maintain accurate records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software systems. Skills Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures. Proficiency in documentation review and maintaining patient records. Familiarity with infection control protocols and best practices. Experience in dental assisting is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to perform medical imaging effectively and safely. Excellent communication skills, particularly in educating patients about their oral health. Compassionate approach towards patient care, especially with pediatric patients. Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental clinic environment.
