Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general dentistry, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health, educating patients on hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling and root planing, and examinations to assess patients' oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff. Utilize Eaglesoft dental software for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and documenting treatments. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Requirements Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Proficient knowledge of anatomy related to oral health. Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is advantageous. Strong understanding of infection control procedures and general dentistry practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
