Compensation: $18 - $22 hourly Responsibilities: Clean, sterilize, and disinfect dental instruments and equipment following OSHA, CDC, and clinic protocols. Prepare and maintain sterilization logs to ensure proper documentation and compliance with infection control standards. Set up and restock operatories with sterile instruments, trays, and supplies for dental procedures. Inspect instruments for damage or wear and report any concerns to the clinical team. Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment according to manufacturer and safety guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized sterilization area , ensuring all surfaces are disinfected and supplies are properly stored. Monitor inventory levels of sterile supplies and communicate needs for reordering or restocking. Follow all safety protocols to protect patients and staff from cross-contamination or infection. Assist clinical staff as needed with chairside setup, breakdown, and cleaning between patients. Support compliance efforts related to OSHA, HIPAA, and internal infection control policies. Qualifications: Experience working with children. Currently enrolled in dental assisting school or have experience working as an unlicensed assistant. Computer Skills. Superb communication skills.
