Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding of oral health practices. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and documenting findings Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs Utilize medical imaging technology to capture diagnostic images as needed Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care and treatment provided Collaborate with dentists in four-handed dentistry procedures to enhance efficiency during treatments Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in ongoing education Skills The successful candidate should possess the following skills: Proficiency in medical imaging techniques Experience or knowledge in general dentistry Familiarity with medical coding and terminology related to dental practices Strong understanding of human anatomy as it relates to dental health Excellent documentation review skills to ensure accurate patient records Commitment to providing exceptional patient care with a focus on comfort and education Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude Join us in making a difference in our patients' lives through exceptional dental care!
